1.Refer to the Flight Information Display Screens for your airline’s check-in row information when arrive at the airport.
2.Approach the check-in counter with your travel documents (valid passport (not less than 6 months), air ticket or booking confirmation, and visa if applicable).
3.Check that you are issued with the correct boarding passes and that your travel documents are in order before leaving the check-in counter.
4.Enter the Departure Hall.
Online check-in
Depending on your airline, you may be able to check-in online up to 48 hours before your flight.
Early check-in
Check-in counters open at least 2 hours before flight departure, but some airlines might let you check in early.
Group check-in
If you are travelling in a group of 10 or more? Your airline may have a special check-in counter at their designated check-in rows.
Check-in counter
Check-in counters open at least 2 hours before departure time. Get ready your valid travel documents – passport, air ticket or booking confirmation and visa (if applicable).

Malaysian Quarantine Inspection Services (MAQIS) requirement
MAQIS will quarantine and inspect any plant, animal, carcass, fish, agricultural produce, soil, microorganism, premise, transporter or any other items at the point of entry, quarantine station and quarantine premise for the purpose of determining whether pests, diseases and contaminants exist and ensuring compliance with the import and export conditions as stated on the permits, licences or certificates issued under the MAQIS Act 2011.
Any plant, animal, carcass, fish, agricultural produce, soil, microorganism, premise, transporter or any other items placed under quarantine control or quarantine premise for a set period determined by the Director General of Quarantine and Inspection.
